JANE GOLDEN MILLER, age 77, of Cornelia, GA, died Monday, October 1, 2007 at the residence of her son. Mrs. Miller was born on June 22, 1930 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late J. C. and Florence Smith Golden. She was a graduate of Piedmont College and was homemaker and former school teacher at Baldwin Elementary School. Mrs. Miller was a member of the Cornelia United Methodist Church; there she was a charter member of the Wesley Bible Sunday School Class and was the first woman to be chairman of the Administrative Board of the church. Mrs. Miller was the former Vice President of the Garden Club of Georgia and was a Master Flower Show Judge all over the southeast and in Peru. Survivors include: her husband: Max Miller, Cornelia, GA; her daughter: Julia Miller, Knoxville, TN; her sons: Charles Max Miller, III, Cornelia, GA; Christopher Mark Miller, Jasper, GA; her sister: Lottie Adams, Cornelia, GA; 4 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 from the Cornelia United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Green officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
