James Wesley Howard

JAMES WESLEY HOWARD, age 74 of Mt. Airy, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2013. Mr. Howard was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on July 31, 1938; to the late Chester and Virginia Reynolds Howard. He was a member of Hazel Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Howard was a veteran of the United States Air Force and Army National Guard. He retired as a correctional officer from the state of Georgia Department of Corrections. Survivors include loving wife of 46 years, Flora Lawrence Howard, Mt. Airy; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Sid Pardue, Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Carla Howard, Billingsley, Mississippi; son, Jay Howard, Mt. Airy; sister, Linda Hart, Ocala, Florida; brothers, Jack Howard, Kentucky, Windy Howard and Wade Howard, both of Mississippi; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A Private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Habersham County Veterans Wall of Honor, P.O.
