James "Jim" Roebuck

James 'Jim' Melvin Roebuck, aged 75, of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Monday, June 3, 2019. Mr. Roebuck was born on June 29, 1943 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Jane Agnes and Melvin Russell Roebuck. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Austin Bryant Roebuck. Mr. Roebuck was a graduate of South Broward High in Hollywood, FL and attended University of Dayton. He moved to Atlanta in the 1970s where he was a long-time employee of Sears, Roebuck and Company and J.C. Penney Company, Inc. Before retirement, Mr. Roebuck was a resident of Lilburn, GA and a member of Smoke Rise Baptist Church. Survivors include his sister Barbara Marks and her husband Bob (Hollywood, FL); his adult children Jacque Roebuck Stuckert (Pittsburgh, PA), Brittany Roebuck Harrington and her husband Kirk (Sunman, IN), Brooke Roebuck Jones and her husband Eric (Flowery Branch, GA) and Blake Roebuck and his wife Olivia (Indianapolis, IN); and eight (8) grandchildren. The family will host a private ceremony in celebration of Mr. Roebuck's life.
