James Milton Crow

JAMES MILTON CROW, age 65, of Mt. Airy, Georgia, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2013 at his residence following a sudden illness. Mr. Crow was born on October 28, 1947, in Clarkesville, Georgia, to the late Edgar N., Sr. and Gladys Waldrup Crow. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Cornelia and attended Mt. Bethel Church of God. Mr. Crow was a Veteran of The United States Navy having served during the Vietnam conflict; he also was a retired supervisor from Mt. Vernon Mills with having 38 years of loyal and dedicated service. Survivors include his wife, Judy A. Crow, Mt. Airy; daughter, Michelle Deer, Mt. Airy; sisters, Sarah Gardner, Mt. Airy, Dorothy Lewis, Salem, SC., Shelia Crow, Cleveland; brother, Edgar N. Crow, Jr., Maysville; grandchildren, Stephanie Deer, James Deer and Emily Deer. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia, with Pastor Scott Dent and Rev. Julia Rautenburg officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Bethel Church of God. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 24, 2013.
