J. Aubrey Lewis, Jr.

J. Aubrey Lewis, Jr., age 67, of Demorest, Georgia, died Friday, March 09, 2012, at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville. Aubrey was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Georgia and the Past President of the Georgia Funeral Directors Association. He was the owner of Donehoo-Lewis Funeral Home in Hapeville, Georgia. He was a Master Mason and a member of the Hapeville Lodge #590 F. & A.M. Aubrey was a well known Mason and Funeral Director. He is survived locally by his wife of 42 years, Jackie Lawrence Lewis of Demorest, Georgia. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2012, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia. Funeral services will be held in Atlanta at Grace United Methodist Church on Tuesday, March 20, 2012. The family respectfully requests that all flowers be omitted and donations be made to the Georgia Masonic Charities Foundation, Inc., 811 Mulberry Street, Macon, Georgia 31201-6779. Local arrangements are in the care of Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia.
