INPENG THAMMAVONGSA, age 82, of Mt. Airy, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2014. Mrs. Thammavongsa was born on June 10, 1931 in Vientiane, Laos to the late Khamphan and Boupha Thammavongsa. She was a member of the Wat Lao Buddha Sattha Dhamma Temple. Mrs. Thammavongsa was a homemaker. Survivors include her loving husband of 67 years, Phimpha Thammavongsa, Mt. Airy, GA; daughters, Phittsamay Bouasy, Clarkesville, GA, Kayla Thammavongsa, Atlanta, GA, Chintana Ahlund, Burlington, VT; sons, Benjamin Thammavongsa, Mt. Airy, GA, Sam Thammavongsa, Canada, Kelvin Thammavongsa, Mt. Airy, GA,; adopted son, Bryan Khamvongsa, Laplace, LA; brothers, Khounpet Thammavongsa, Tacoma, WA, Somsack Thammavongsa, Paris, France; 13 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia with the Wat Lao Buddha Sattha Dhamma Temple Association officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2014.
