Imogene Laprade Trotter

IMOGENE LAPRADE TROTTER, age 84, of Demorest, GA died Sunday, July 13, 2008 at Habersham County Medical Center. Mrs. Trotter was born in Clarkesville, GA on November 13, 1923 to the late Connie and Viola Brookshire LaPrade. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Trotter, and a grandson. Mrs. Trotter was also preceded in death by her brothers, Garnett, Roy, and J.C. sisters, Helen Thomason, Janelle Burrell, Betty Sue Whitmire. Mrs. Trotter was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. She was retired from Clarkesville Mill. Survivors include, daughter & son-in-law, Linda and Doug Frankum, Demorest, GA; son & daughter-in-law, Barry and Phyllis Trotter, Demorest, GA; sisters, Martha Ann Garrin, Cornelia, GA; Marilyn Griffin, Lawrenceville, GA; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA with Rev. Russ Barker and Rev. Billy Burrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Clarkesville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at the funeral home.
