Ila Mae Savage Brock, age 81, of Baldwin, GA, died Tuesday, August 07, 2007 at her residence. Mrs. Brock was born on March 16, 1926 in Banks County, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband Alvin Brock, son, Ray Brock, and her parents Milton & Martha Savage. She was a homemaker and retired with 22 years of service from the Poultry Industry with Fieldale Farms. Mrs. Brock was a member of Leatherwood Baptist Church. Survivor include: one daughter and son-in-law: Glenda & James Waters, Cornelia, GA; five sons and daughter-in-laws: T. L. & Frances Brock, Ramburn. AL, Carter & Rebecca Brock, Baldwin, GA, Buford & Bessie Brock, Toccoa, GA, Roy & Terry Brock, Alto, GA, Phil Brock, Mt. Airy; one daughter-in-law Carolyn Brock, Alto, GA; one sister Evelyn Brock, Baldwin, GA, eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 9, 2007 from Whitfield Fuenral Homes, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA with Brother Greg Brock and Rev. Tim House officiating. Burial will follow in Leatherwood Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA. from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm Wednesday, August 8, 2007.
