Hubert Dale Harris

Hubert Dale Harris, age 50, of Cornelia, GA, died Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at a private care facility. Mr. Harris was born on October 20, 1959 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late Hubert and Melba Jordan Harris. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Keith Harris and a granddaughter, Madilynn Harris. Mr. Harris was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -Day Saints. He was retired from Scovill Fasteners. Survivors include: his daughter: Jennifer Harris Kimbrell, Cornelia, GA; his sons: Jonathan Harris, Arcadia, California; Josh Harris, Cornelia, GA; his three grandchildren: Carlie Harris, Katie Richins, Angeleah Harris, all of Cornelia, GA. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 11, 2009 at Yonah Memorial Gardens with Elder Sherman Patrum officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:45 p.m. on Friday, just prior to the service, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dale Harris Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 58, Demorest, GA 30535. Arrangements are in the care of Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia.
