Hoke Caudell, Jr.

Hoke Caudell, Jr., age 74, of Homer, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2016. Mr. Caudell was born on September 4, 1941, in Banks County, Georgia, to the late Hoke Caudell, Sr. and Addie Newsome Caudell. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Jo Caudell and Evelyn Willoughby and brothers, Theodore, Everage, and Ulysess Caudell. Mr. Caudell was a retired contractor and a member of Damascus Baptist Church. Survivors include his sons, Hoke "Tim" Caudell, III, Fresno, California and Joe Caudell, Indiana; sisters, Catherine Boone, Atlanta, GA and Sandra Caudell, Homer, GA; brothers, Harry Caudell, Mt. Airy, GA and Douglas Caudell, Toccoa, GA; and grandchildren, Gracie and Carson Caudell. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 13, 2016, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia, with Rev. Roy G. Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday, August 12, 2016, at the funeral home.
