Henry Grady Cowart

Grady Cowart, age 86, of Clarkesville, Georgia passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025 following injury sustained in an automobile accident.

Mr. Cowart was born on July 19, 1938 in Towns County, Georgia to the late Claude and Lola Shook Cowart. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, J.C. Cowart; and his sister, Frances Wilson.

Grady had retired from both Scovill Manufacturing and Talon Manufacturing where he had served over 40 years as a Industrial Engineer. He was a bee-keeper and loved to spend time working on and restoring antique cars. Grady's passion for vehicles led him to work for Jacky Jones Ford for several years after his retirement where he had his "dream job" selling trucks. Grady will be remembered as a loving husband and father.

Survivors include his loving wife of 67 years, Carolyn Martin Cowart, of Clarkesville; daughter, Taecey Cowart, of Clarkesville; one niece, several nephews, and many cousins.

Grady's wishes were to be cremated and no formal services to be held.
