Helen Marie Tatum

Helen Marie Tatum, age 79, of Clarkesville, GA, died Friday, March 9, 2007 at a private care facility following an extended illness. Mrs. Tatum was born on October 8, 1927 in Blount Co., AL to the late Alfred B and Nannie Sue Mooney Ragsdale. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Ray and J D Ragsdale and one sister: Dorothy Mulligan. Mrs. Tatum was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She retired from Regions Bank, after 24 years of dedicated service as a bank teller. Survivors include her husband: Rex Tatum, Clarkesville, GA; two daughters and sons-in-law: Janet and Ken Ledford, Clarkesville, GA and Sandra and Dalva Jones, Gainesville, GA. Mrs. Tatum had 4 grandchildren: Jaron Loggins; Nathan and Iris Loggins; Derrick Jones; and Corey Jones. Graveside services will be at 3 pm Sunday, March 11, 2007, at Yonah Memorial Gardens with Rev. Larry Free officiating.
