Helen Roberts O'Dell

HELEN ROBERTS O'DELL, age 86, of Cornelia, GA, and formerly of Atlanta, GA, died Friday, December 22, 2006 at the Lanier Park Hospital. Mrs. O'Dell was born on February 11, 1920 in Reliance, Wyoming to the late Carl and Myrtle Cantrell Roberts. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George O'Dell, a sister, Viola Ledford and a brother, James Roberts. Mrs. O'Dell was a member of the Level Grove Baptist Church. She was retired from Rich's Department Store with 20 years of service. Survivors include: her daughter: Linda Rogers, Alto, GA; her son: Allen O'Dell, Smyrna, GA; 2 grandchildren: John Rogers, Jr., Manhattan, NY; Teresa Lynn Davis, Buford, GA. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin . Burial will follow in the Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery, Maysville, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
