Hazel Blackburn Pritchett

HAZEL BLACKBURN PRITCHETT, age 82, of Baldwin, GA died Sunday, February 3, 2008 at a private health care facility. Born in Habersham County on January 16, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Henrietta Pettit Blackburn. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred Pritchett; grandson, Michael Brent Clark; and sisters, Daisy Blackburn and Pauline Ferguson. She was member of Good News Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Survivors include: her daughters and son in law: Hilda and Jimmy Clark of Flowery Branch, GA and Lee Ann Jones of Gainesville, GA. Sister: Elsie Sutton of Alto, GA; brothers, Ray Blackburn and Fay Blackburn, both of Cornelia, GA., and her special friends at New Horizons West. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Rev. Austin Kelley and Rev. James Dumas officiating. Burial will follow in Leatherwood Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the South Chapel from 6 pm to 9 pm on Monday.
