Hannelore Ida Foerster

HANNELORE IDA FOERSTER, age 84, of Clarkesville, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 18, 2011. Miss Foerster was born on May 18, 1927, in Germany. She was preceded in death by her parents, Karl and Maria Duennebeil Foerster and her sister, Renate Lucius. Miss Foerster was a member of the Hollywood Baptist Church in Clarkesville, Georgia for over 20 years and she considered the members of the church her family. Miss Foerster was a missionary for over 60 years. Survivors include her sisters, Inge Duennebeil, Gisela Sondermann, and Christa Walch and her brother, Juergan Foerster. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2011, at the Hollywood Baptist Church with Pastor Don Samples officiating. Burial followed in the Hollywood Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2011, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia. All family and friends met at the Hollywood Baptist Church by 10:55 a.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2011. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hollywood Baptist Church, 208 Hollywood Church Road, Clarkesville, Georgia 30523, to help with funeral expenses.
