Gregory Gerald Helton

GREGORY GERALD HELTON, age 48, Baldwin, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2014. Mr. Helton was born on April 18, 1965 in Gainesville, Georgia. He was preceeded in death by his father, Hershel G. Helton, Jr. and brother Terry Ray Helton. Mr. Helton was a High Voltage Lineman for 32 years. He was of Baptist faith. Survivors include his mother, Carolyn Heaton Helton, Baldwin; daughters, Meghan Holliday, Orlando, Chelsey Helton Holliday, Mt. Airy, and Hillary Leyva, Cleveland; brother, Jerry Lee Helton, Baldwin; granddaughter, Milli Leyva. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia with Rev. Tim Beasley and Rev. Kenneth McEntire officiating. Interment will follow in Baldwin City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2014 and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2014.
