Gloria Howell Armstrong

Gloria Howell Armstrong, age 84, of Clarkesville, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018. Born August 17, 1933 in Kissimmee, Florida to the late Victoria E. and Donald G. Davidson, Gloria graduated from Orlando High School in 1951. She was a retired Executive Secretary, and spent most of her life in Central Florida, moving to Habersham County in 1988. An Active member of Clarkesville United Methodist Church and a charter member of their Morning Joy Circle, Gloria was preceded in death by her first husband, Frederick S. Howell, and second husband, Wallace L. “Wally” Armstrong, and sisters Thelma Franklin and Valerie Perdue. Gloria is survived by her great-niece Rachel (husband Juan) Pacheco of Sharpsburg, GA and Rachel’s children Christin, Tyler and Jonathan Baxter. A Private Graveside Service will be conducted by Rev. Jan Devereaux, Rev. Keith Cox, and Rev. Tom Fish at the Demorest City Cemetery.
