Glenda Kennedy Moody

GLENDA KENNEDY MOODY, age 59, of Cornelia, GA, died Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at a private care facility. Mrs. Moody was born on December 20, 1946 in Stephens County, Georgia. She was a daughter of the late Ralph Edward and Jewell M. Thomas Kennedy. Mrs. Moody was a member of the Cornelia Christian Church. Survivors include: her husband: Jessie (Jim) Moody, Cornelia, GA; Daughter and Son-in-law: Tina Melissa and Dennis Walker, Cumming, GA; Sons and Daughters-in-law: Jimmy Glen and Jill Moody, Mt. Airy, GA; Ronald James and Misty Moody, Alto, GA; Sisters: Ruth Bowen, Toccoa, GA; Mary Lou Cash, Toccoa, GA; Sara Mae Riddle, Charlotte, NC; Barbara Hicks, Toccoa, GA; Ann Lathan, Toccoa, GA; Brother: Hugh (Butch) Kennedy, Toccoa, GA; 5 grandchildren: Kimberly Ann Moody, Mt. Airy, GA; Brandy Marie Moody, Blake Moody, and Bradley Moody, all of Alto, GA; Abby Walker, Cumming, GA. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2006 from the Cornelia Christian Church with *David Terrell officiating. Burial will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday. Mrs. Moody will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. on Friday to lie in state until the funeral hour.
