Glen Crump,

Glen Crump, Jr., age 94, of Baldwin, Georgia, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2019. Mr. Crump was born on October 14, 1924, in Banks County, Georgia, to the late Glen Crump, Sr. and Nettie Lawrence Crump. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Susie Chitwood Crump; son, Wayne Crump; grandson, Marty Todd Crump; sisters, Winnie Kitchens and Grace Waters; and brothers, Jack Crump and Tommy Crump. Mr. Crump was employed with Haynes-Gailey Pontiac with 31 years of service. He was also employed with the Banks County Road Department for several years. Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law: Felton Crump, Hank and Denise Crump, and Donald Crump, all of Baldwin; sister, May Crane of Cordele; brother, John Crump of Commerce; ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 pm on Monday, April 15, 2019, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia, with Rev. Tim House and Rev. Hal Cason officiating. Interment will follow in Leatherwood Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-8 pm on Sunday, April 14, 2019, at the funeral home.
