Gladys Wilson Jackson

Gladys Wilson Jackson, age 93, of Concord, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2017. Mrs. Jackson was born on August 24, 1923, in Franklin County, Georgia, to the late Garnet F. and Florence Brock Wilson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter M. Jackson; sister, Mary Wilson Bentley; brother, Frank Wilson; stepmother, Amanda Pritchett Wilson; and great-granddaughter, Taylor Grambling. Mrs. Jackson was employed with the Bell Bomber Plant in Marietta during World War II. She retired from the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta with 35 years of service. Mrs. Jackson was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church in Atlanta. Survivors include her son, David Jackson, Concord, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Evie and Larry Whitfield, Cornelia, GA; five grandchildren; one niece; and three nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at Allens United Methodist Church Cemetery, 15577 Georgia Highway 106, Martin (Red Hill Community), Georgia 30557. Rev.
