Gladys Waldrup Crow

GLADYS WALDRUP CROW, age 89, of Cornelia, Georgia died Thursday, May 22, 2008 at a local care facility. Mrs. Crow was born on August 4, 1918 in Banks County, Georgia to the late Augustine and Sarah Worley Waldrup. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar N. Crow, Sr., three sisters and two brothers. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cornelia and was retired from Ethicon, Inc., with several years of service. Survivors include: her daughters and sons-in-law: Sarah and Mark Gardner, Mt. Airy, GA; Dorothy and Tim Lewis, Salem, SC; her daughter: Shelia Crow, Baldwin, GA; her son: Edgar N. Crow, Jr., Maysville, GA; her son and daughter-in-law: James Milton and Judy Crow, Mt. Airy, GA; her sister: Ellen Bramblett, Cornelia, GA; 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2008 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia with Rev. Greg Walton and Rev. David Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Level Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday.
