Gladys Head Evans Baugh

GLADYS HEAD EVANS BAUGH, age 71, of Cornelia, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2012. Mrs. Baugh was born on November 17, 1940, in Hall County, Georgia; a daughter of the late Clifford and Curtis Hulsey Head. She was a widow of James Baugh and first married to Donald Evans. She was also preceded in death by her son, James Dean Evans and her sister, Cathy Campbell. Mrs. Baugh was a retired employee of MarJac Poultry Company with 29 years of service and a member of the Northside Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth Baugh and Marvin Olson, Lula, GA; son, Richard Evans, Cornelia, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Darryl and Lynn Evans, Lula, GA; sisters, Cecile London, Cleveland, GA and Winell Seabolt, Turnerville, GA; brothers, Jerry Head, Lula, GA and Forrest Head, Dahlonega, GA; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at the Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. W.A. Jenkins officiating.
