Georgia Westbrook Meaders

GEORGIA WESTBROOK MEADERS, age 91, of Demorest, GA., died Friday, August 10, 2007, at a private care health care facility. Mrs. Meaders was born in Stephens County, GA. on July 3, 1916, to the late Thomas J. and Fannie Cash Westbrook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bailey Meaders, three step-sons, J.T. Meaders, Robert Meaders, and Henry Meaders, a brother, John Ruben Westbrook, and a sister, Annie Mae Moore. Mrs. Meaders was a member of the Bethel Temple Congregational Holiness Church and was a homemaker. She was the last member of her immediate family. Survivors include: her daughters-in-law: Ethel Meaders and Fern Meaders, both of Clarkesville, GA; her sister-in-law: Bernice Westbrook, Cornelia, GA; many nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 12, 2007 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia with Rev. Ernest Hunter and David Terrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Temple C.H. Church Cemetery.
