Georgia Bee Holland

Georgia Bee Holland, age 91, of Demorest, Georgia, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, December 13, 2018. Mrs. Holland was born on May 26, 1927, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late George Edwin and Helen Josephine Park King. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Henry Holland, Jr. and sister, Velma Ruth Osborne. Mrs. Holland was a member of D.A.R. and the Highlands County Genealogical Society. She was also a member of First United Methodist Church of Avon Park, Florida and a homemaker. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law: Janie and Fletch Holliday of Demorest, Paula and Michael White of Richland Center, Wisconsin, and Bonnie and Trent Hopkins of Westpoint, Tennessee; son, George Henry Holland III and wife of Oregon; sister, Virginia Dare Rusk of Brooksville, Florida; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
