GENNIEVE ANDERSON SANDERS, age 89, of Baldwin, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2013. Mrs. Sanders was born on September 8, 1924, in Banks County, Georgia, to the late Ernest and Elsie Crump Anderson. She was also preceded in death by her husband Jack Sanders; sister Geraldine Sanders; and brother, Omer Anderson. Mrs. Sanders was a member of Baldwin Baptist Church. She was a retired employee from Chicopee Manufacturing with 25 years of service. Mrs. Sanders was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David and Robin Sanders, Baldwin; granddaughter and husband, Becky and Kevin Lomax; great-grand son, Bailey Lomax, Baldwin, both Becky and Bailey were the love of her life; nephews, Dudley Sanders and Matt Anderson. Mrs. Sanders was the last of her immediate family. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2013, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia, with Rev. Scott Brown, Rev. Frank Sailers and David Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, October 14, 2013.
