Gary Milton Soderman

GARY SODERMAN, age 86, of Rapid River, Michigan formerly of Gladstone, Michigan, went to be with The Lord on Saturday, May 7, 2016 following a lengthy illness. Mr. Soderman and his wife were visiting their son in Clarkesville, Georgia at the time of his death. Mr. Soderman was born on February 12, 1930 in Gladstone, Michigan to Alvin and Norine Potvin Soderman. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son, Gary Paul Soderman. Mr. Soderman was of The Lutheran Faith. He was a veteran of The United States Army having served during The Korean Conflict. Mr. Soderman was retired from The Harnischfeger Corporation with 32 years of loyal and dedicated service. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Soderman, of Rapid River, MI; daughters and sons-in-law, Shelly and Wayne Louis, of Lompoc, CA; Rhonda and Troy Bernson, of Gladstone, MI; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Alice Soderman, of Clarkesville, GA; Scott and Cindy Soderman, of Gladstone, MI; sister, Annetta Foshey, of Muskego, WI; brother, John "Jack" Soderman, of Gladstone, MI; brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Mary Soderman, of Gladstone, MI. 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
