Gary Hopper

GARY HOPPER, age 49, of Clarkesville, GA, died Friday, July 14, 2006 at his residence. Mr. Hopper was born on January 26, 1957 in Habersham County, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Hopper and a brother Leroy Hopper. Mr. Hopper was a tree surgeon and a member of the New Liberty United Methodist Church. Survivors include: His wife, Mary Sue Whitfield Hopper, Clarkesville, GA; Mother, Juanita Sowers Parris, Ellijay, GA; Daughter: Marie Mincey, Virginia; Step-daughter: Greta Turk, Cleveland, GA; Sons: Curtis Mincey, Clarkesville, GA; Chris Hopper, Dawsonville, GA; Step-sons: Scott Wooten and James Wooten, Clarkesville, GA; Sisters: Brenda Gail Dover, Clarkesville, GA; Judy Worley and Joan Burch, both of Cornelia, GA; Teresa Norwood, Blairsville, GA; Melody Colbert, Blue Ridge, GA; Glynda Crooke, Ellijay, GA; 5 step-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18, 2006 from the New Liberty United Methodist Church Cemetery.
