Gary Edward Gunter

GARY EDWARD GUNTER, age 57, of Lula, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2013. Mr. Gunter was born in Gastonia, North Carolina on June 16, 1956, to Mary Sue Bradley Gunter, of Lula and the late Ralph Edward Gunter. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his brother, Gregory Scott Gunter. Mr. Gunter was a United States Navy Veteran and was formerly employed with Warren Featherbone and Baldwin Garment Company. He was a member of Free Chapel Worship Center. Survivors include in addition to his mother, daughter, Nikki Michelle Gunter, Lula; sister, Pamela Hahn, Maysville; brothers, Jeffery Wayne Gunter and Ralph Anthony "Tony" Gunter, both of Bessemer City, NC. Graveside services are scheduled for 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2013, Westview Cemetery, Lula, Georgia with Rev. Sanford Kimbrell and Rev. Kendal Mann officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2013, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia.
