Gail C. Gunnels

Gail C. Gunnels, age 76, of Clarkesville, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2017. Mrs. Gunnels was born on November 10, 1940 in Demorest, Georgia to the late Ford and Grace Coker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Gunnels; sister, Sharon Stewart. Mrs. Gunnels was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church. She was retired from Scovill with 33 years of loyal and dedicated service. Survivors include her daughter, Kim Staska, of Tucker; sons and daughters-in-law, Deloney and Melinda Gunnels, of Clarkesville; Terry and Angela Gunnels, of Dunwoody; grandchildren: Krystal Gunnels, Jami Staska, and Ashlyn Gunnels. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Rev. Charles Holland officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens with Rev. Josh Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 11, 2017 at the funeral home.
