Gail Dalton Simmemon

GAIL DALTON SIMMEMON, age 63, of Simmemon Road, Alto, Georgia, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2012, at her residence. Mrs. Simmemon was born on August 13, 1948, in Jackson County, Georgia; a daughter of the late Isaac and Nellie Parker Dalton. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jesse Parker and her sister, Loretta Dalton. Mrs. Simmemon was a retired employee of Ethicon Medical Products, Inc. with ten years of service. She was of the Holiness faith. Survivors include her husband, Winston "Joy" Simmemon, Alto, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Truett and Rochelle Simmemon and Chad and Laura Simmemon, both of Alto, GA; sisters, Dorothy Key, Mt. Airy, GA and Evelyn Dalton, Alto, GA; and grandchildren, Dedra, Shelby, Makayla, and Savannah Simmemon. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2012, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia, with Rev. Danny O'Kelly and Rev. John Dubois officiating. Interment will be in the Baldwin City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday and Wednesday at the residence, 219 Simmemon Road, Alto, and the body will be placed there after 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
