Fred Newman

FRED NEWMAN, age 81, of Cleveland, GA, died Tuesday, February 6, 2007. Mr. Newman was born on November 29, 1925 in New York. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served his country during World War II. Mr. Newman and his wife Mary were former owners of the historic Charm House in Clarkesville, Georgia. Survivors include: his wife: Mary Newman, Cleveland, GA; his daughter: Linda Anne Clarke, Aiken, SC; his son: Dr. Steven Newman, Franklin, TN; 3 grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2007 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest with Rev. David Turner officiating.
