Frazier "Sonny" Jarrard

FRAZIER "SONNY" JARRARD, JAN. 8, 1946 - NOV. 15, 2007 FRAZIER "SONNY" JARRARD, age 61, of Demorest, GA died Thursday, November 15, 2007, at Chestatee Regional Hospital following a sudden illness. Mr. Jarrard was born in Lumpkin County on January 8, 1946 to the late Claude and Carrie Whitlock Jarrard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters: Betty Sue Garrett and Louise Etris, brothers: Grady, Newton, and Rufus Jarrard. Mr. Jarrard was employed with Cottrell Inc. as a diesel mechanic. He was of the Pentecostal faith. Survivors include: wife: Rita Jarrard, Demorest, GA; four children: Teresa Ann Jarrard Williams, Gainesville, GA, Donald Frazier Jarrard, Gainesville, GA, Mark Anthony Jarrard, Baldwin, GA and Matthew Eugene Jarrard, Baldwin, GA; sisters: Doris Ann Ledford, Clermont, GA, Trudy Newton, Smyrna, TN, Mildred Loveless, Smyrna TN, Libby Miller, Demorest, GA and Emma McIntyre, Homer, GA; brother Dearl Jarrard, Clermont, GA; 15 grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 17, 2007 from the Town Creek Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:30 am Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home. Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA.
