Franklin C. Thiel

Franklin C. Thiel, age 63, of Cornelia, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016. Mr. Thiel was born on June 26, 1952, in Owosso, Michigan, to the late Louie August and Frances Thompson Thiel. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Robert Thiel. Mr. Thiel was a United States Marine Corps Veteran having served as Military Police. Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years, Connie Woodward Thiel, Cornelia, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Shawn Hinson, Manchester, NH; son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Anissa Woodward, Demorest, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Sherry and Richard Flagg, Vancouver, Washington; and grandchildren, Christopher Miller, Jessy Whitington, and George Alurac.
