Francine Payne Reems

Francine Payne Reems, age 73, of the Hollingsworth Community, Baldwin. Georgia passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2020. Ms. Reems was born on August 8, 1947 in Banks County, Georgia to the late John Jesse and WIllie Smith Payne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Marty John Reems; brother, Douglas McArthur Payne; sister, Mary Evelyn Norton; and nephew, Michael Andrew Norton. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Amy Reems Harkness and Bruce Harkness, of Demorest; granddaughters, Jessica Umberhandt, of Cornelia; MaKayla Steele, of Demorest; grandson, Bryson Moss, of Demorest; and great-granddaughters, McKinley and Lennox; niece, Lisa Norton Parr, of Clarkesville; and nephew, Dustin Payne, of Hollingsworth. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 19, 2020 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with Elder Terrell Simmons officiating. A Private Interment will follow in the Union Hill Church Cemetery.
