Florence Ruth Bechard

MRS. FLORENCE RUTH BECHARD, 98, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2006. She was born in Springdale, Arkansas, July 19, 1908, she lived most of her life in Great Falls, Montana. Mrs. Bechard had lived the last couple of years with her daughter, Jan, in Alto, GA. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Thomas Galyean and Danny Fordham. Mrs. Bechard has two daughters, Carol (Bob) Harness of Carson City, Nevada and Jan (Don) Fordham of Alto, Georgia. There are eight grandchildren surviving. Greg Galyean of Wasilla, Alaska, Lonnie Ray Galyean of St. Maries, Idaho, Steven Galyean of Topeka, Kansas, Martin Galyean of Madison, North Carolina, Rebecca Macaw, of Boise, Idaho, Robert Fordham of Homer, Georgia, Pam Gunn of Alto, Georgia, Donny Fordham of Cornelia, Georgia. She attended Cornelia Christian Church. Mrs. Bechard was a homemaker and enjoyed bowling in earlier years. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, December 16, 2006 at the Cornelia Christian Church with David Terrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Level Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Friday, December 15, 2006 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia.
