Flora L. Smith, age 75, of Cleveland, Georgia, died Friday, October 12, 2007, at a private care facility. Mrs. Smith was born in Marion Co., Florida on October 2, 1932 to the late William Hugh and Cora Emma Petty Britt. She was also preceded in death by her husband: James Bernard Smith Sr., sister: Emma Sandlin, and her brother: Daniel Britt. Mrs. Smith was of the Baptist Faith and a homemaker. Survivors include: daughter: Louise Keeth, Boynton Beach, Florida; sons: James R Smith Jr., Cleveland, Georgia , Samuel H. Smith, Rockford, Illinois, William Frank Smith, Cleveland, Georgia; twin sister: Dora Wright, Avon Park, Florida; brother: Hugh Britt, Albany, Georgia; ten grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, October 16, 2007, from the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia with Rev. Jan Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Monday, October 15, 2007.
