Faye R. Jackson

Faye R. Jackson, age 85, of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021. Mrs. Jackson was born on March 9, 1936, in Fulton County, Georgia, to the late Alvin and Ruby Matthews Brown. She was of the Methodist Faith. Mrs. Jackson was a homemaker and she loved to prepare meals for her family and friends. Faye was an avid animal lover, she loved her pets very much. She and her husband loved to travel, he was a pilot and she joined him as a flight attendant for several years of his career. Faye was one of the most positive and thoughtful people you could meet, even in her final weeks she kept her smile. Survivors include her loving husband of over 60 years, Donald F. Jackson, of Cornelia; son, John Russell Jackson, formerly of Cumming; son and daughter-in-law, Randal Jackson and Elizabeth St. Andre, of California; grandchildren, Justin Jackson, Cameron "Amy" Jackson, and Zane St. Andre Jackson; brother, Harvey Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Sunday, October 3, 2021 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request that memorials be made in Mrs. Jackson's memory to the Habersham County Animal Shelter: 4231 Toccoa Hwy, Clarkesville, GA 30523 or to the charity of one's choice.
