Faith Denese "Aunt Sacy" Long

Faith Denese "Aunt Sacy" Long, age 59, of Mount Airy, Georgia, went to be with The Lord on Thursday, July 27, 2017, after a short battle with cancer. Ms. Long was born on October 5, 1957 in Gainesville, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Donald Long; grandparents, Sanford and Lottie Landers; and Mr. and Mrs. Newman Long. Ms. Long was of the Baptist Faith, and was a retired Nanny. Survivors include her mother, Lorna Landers Long Reece, of Mount Airy; sisters, Hope Long , of Mount Airy; Melody Bryson, of Mount Airy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Rev. Billy Burrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Hazel Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Trent Smith officiating.
