Evelyn Gerrin Bellamy

EVELYN GERRIN BELLAMY, age 82, of Baldwin, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at a private care facility following an extended illness. Mrs. Bellamy was born on September 15, 1932 in Cornelia, Georgia to the late Albert Benjamin and Altia Payne Gerrin. She was a member of Community Baptist Church. She was a loving and dedicated mother and loved to sing gospel music. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Joe Bellamy. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Clark Ryals, Baldwin, GA., and Tammy and Robert Thrasher, Tiger, GA.; sisters, Louise Acrey, Cornelia, GA., and Lorene Murray, Clarkesville, GA.; 8 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Rev. Austin Kelley, Rev. Grady White, and Rev. Larry Ryals officiating. Interment will follow in Community Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 8, 2014.
