Eula Mae Savage Strayhorn

EULA MAE SAVAGE STRAYHORN, age 91, Demorest, Georgia, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2015. Mrs. Strayhorn was born on April 21, 1924 in Greensboro, Georgia to the late Homer and Frankie Anglan Savage. She was a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church. She was a part of Mountain Resources. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Strayhorn; brothers, John Henry, Paul, B.D., James E., and Roy Savage; sisters Beulah Barrett, Bernice Shockley. Survivors include her sister, Cozetta Cooter Myers, of Lula; also a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with Rev. Lonnie Bennett. Interment will follow in the Camp Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 16, 2015.
