Estelle Sisk

ESTELLE SISK, AGE 87,of Cornelia, GA died Wednesday, March 12, 2008. Mrs. Sisk was born in Banks County, GA on March 24, 1920, and was a daughter of the late Fred and Minnie Carter Parker. She was also preceded in death by a son, Donald Foster and a daughter, Diane Heaton. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Cornelia and was retired from Carwood Manufacturing Company with more than 40 years of dedicated service. Survivors include: her daughters: Judy Franklin of Cornelia; Linda Porterfield of Baldwin, GA; and Betty Jackson of Toccoa, GA. Her sons: Charles Foster and Nickey Foster, both of Cornelia, GA and Nelson Foster of Baldwin, GA. Her sisters: Sarah Edge of Cumming, GA and Mary Pritchett of Toccoa, GA. Her brother, Ezra Parker of Jacksonville, FL. 18 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2008, at Whitfield Funeral Home South Chapel, with Pastor Mike Franklin and Rev. Paul Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday.
