Elva Duett Willis

ELVA DUETT WILLIS, age 89, of Clarkesville, GA and formerly of Philadelphia, Mississippi, died Saturday, September 23, 2006 at a private care facility. Mrs. Willis was born on November 21, 1916 in Neshoba County, Mississippi to the late Willie W. and Myrtle Hisaw Duett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dolvis Oliver Willis and a daughter Kalene Willis. Mrs. Willis was a homemaker and a member of the Arlington Baptist Church. Survivors include: her daughter: Delene Willis Lee, Clarkesville, GA; her son: James Mark Willis, Brandon, Mississippi; her sister: Evelyn Duett Darby, Pearl, Mississippi; 4 grandchildren: Kimberly Willis and Kevin Willis, Brandon, MS; Susan Lee Swars, Hoschton, GA; Stephen Lee, Chapel Hill, NC; 4 great-grandchildren: Calvin Lee and Killian Lee, Chapel Hill, NC; Anna Delene Swars and Christopher Swars, Hoschton, GA. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, September 29, 2006 from the chapel of McClain Hays Funeral Home with Rev. Don Savell officiating.
