Elise Bagwell Webb

Elise Bagwell Webb, age 90, of Cornelia, Georgia, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018. Mrs. Webb was born on June 19, 1928, in Forsyth County, Georgia; a daughter of the late James Franklin and Susie Owens Bagwell. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Webb and daughter, Elaine Diane Webb. She was a graduate of Cumming High School and a homemaker. Mrs. Webb was a member of First Baptist Church of Cornelia, where she was a part of the Joy Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxillary Post #201, Alpharetta and the Historical Society of Alpharetta. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Gerald Watkins of Cornelia; sister, Edith Cathcart of St. Augustine, FL; grandson and spouse, Ethan and Taylor Watkins; and great-granddaughter, Kori Watkins. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia, with Dr. Eric Spivey and Dr. Brian James officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery in Alpharetta. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Monday, December 17, 2018, at the funeral home.
