Elijah Minor "Tiny" Wiley, age 76, of Alto, Georgia went to his heavenly home to be with the Lord and to be reunited with his family on Sunday, December 31, 2023.
Mr. Wiley was born on August 15, 1947 in Hall County, Georgia to the late Albern and Maebell Woodall Wiley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, George Robert Wiley, Marion Edwin "Sharper" Wiley, Alburn Dayton Wiley, Lewis Eugene Wiley; sisters, Mary Eunalou Wade, and Henrietta King.
Mr. Wiley was a member of Mud Creek Baptist Church. He was a graduate of East Hall High School Class of 1968 and was known for playing basketball during high school. In Elijah's spare time he enjoyed spending many hours outdoors, fishing and feeding his birds. Mr. Wiley was an avid animal lover, having many canine companions over the years. He had retired from Scovill Manufacturing after many years of service.
Survivors include his brother, Royce Wiley, of Alto; sister, Kathleen Wiley Sexton, of Flowery Branch; Maebell Wiley Lovell, of Alto; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced when made available.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Whitfield Funeral Homes & Crematory, P.O. Box 1113, Cornelia, Georgia 30531 to assist the family with final expenses.
