Effie Elizabeth Dickson Woodall

EFFIE DICKSON WOODALL, age 92, of Clarkesville, GA passed away Friday, March 6, 2009 at the residence. Mrs. Woodall was born in Rabun County, GA on January 16, 1917 to the late Walter Angustus and Minnie M. Smith Dickson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis G. Woodall, sister, Pauline Hegler, brother, Paul Dickson. She was a member of the Camp Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Woodall was a dedicated homemaker and "one of the best cooks around". Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Jack Routt, Clarkesville, GA. grandson, Jason Routt and his wife Heather and 3 great-grandchildren Skyler, Layla, and Sydney Routt. Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 9, 2009 at Camp Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Bill Barrs officiating.
