Edwin C. Largin

EDWIN C. LARGIN, age 78, of Clarkesville, GA died Saturday, August 12, 2006, at a private care facility. Born in Fulton County, GA on December 4, 1927, he was a son of the late Victor "Dick" Largin and Frances Gardner Largin. He was a member of Faith Tabernacle Full Gospel Church. He retired from the John Payne Company in Tucker, GA after over 20 years service and was a member of Atlanta Plumbers and Steamfitters Local # 72. Survivors include: his wife, Ollie Mae Largin of Clarkesville, GA; 1 son: Edward C. Largin, Jr. of Monroe, GA; 2 grandchildren, Diane Gebhart of Savannah, GA and Lee Largin of Monroe, GA. 6 great grandchildren also survive. Graveside services will be held at 11 am Tuesday, August 13, 2006, from Yonah Memorial Gardens with Rev. Lillian Waters and Rev. Janice Sudderth Officiating. The family will receive friends at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, from 4 pm to 8 pm Monday. Arrangements are in care of Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA.
