Edward E. Allison

EDWARD E. ALLISON, age 53, of Clarkesville, GA, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016. Mr. Allison was born on August 3, 1963, in Habersham County, GA, to Jimmie and Lynette Mason Allison, of Cornelia, GA. He was preceded in death by a son, Edward Blake Allison, and grandparents, Junior and Sue Allison and Harold and Irene Mason. Mr. Allison was a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church and attended Harvest Christian Church and Hillside Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Navy with four years of service. Mr. Allison's survivors, in addition to his parents, include his loving wife of 13 years, Ramonia Ramey Allison, Clarkesville, GA; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Lori Allison, Cornelia, GA, and Chris and Tracy Allison, Mt. Airy, GA. Survivors also include several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, September 11, 2016, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA, with Rev. Jerry Buschmann and Pastor Rick Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Camp Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Full military honors will be conducted by the U.S. Navy, Grant Reeves V.F.W. Post #7720, the American Legion Post #84, and the Rabun County D.A.V. Chapter #15. The family will receive friends at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM.
