ED BROWN, age 78, of Alpharetta, died Friday, July 18, 2008 at Emory Johns Creek Hospital. Ed was born in Wayland N.Y. on September 17, 1929 to the late George Henry and Mary Redmond Brown. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church. Ed was a U.S. Navy Korean Conflict Veteran and retired from Kardex Systems, Marietta, Ohio with 41 years of service. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Kay Brown, Alpharetta, GA; daughter & son-in-law, Wendy & Billy Rinesmith, Johns Creek, GA; sister & brother-in-law, Lee and Carlo Luberti, Ft. Myers, FL; brother & sister-in-law, Ken & June Brown, Centerville, Ohio; two grandchildren, Trey Rinesmith and Kaylee Rinesmith, Johns Creek. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church, with Rev. Mike Roper and Rev. Steve Wood officiating. 2850 Old Alabama Rd., Johns Creek, GA. Mr. Brown will be cremated after the service. The family will receive friends at the church from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday, July 21, 2008.
