Earlene Mckean

EARLENE MCKEAN, age 67 of Japan, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 in IKoma, Japan. Ms. McKean was born on October 22, 1941 in Louisiana to the late William and Clydie Paul McKean. She was preceded in death by her brother Raymond McKean. Ms. McKean graduated from Toccoa Falls College with a Masters degree in Education and Missions. She was a member of Broad River Baptist Church and a member of the Japan Mission. She was a missionary and served in Japan from 1963 until her death. Survivors include daughters, Lola Sulane Verwey, IKoma Japan, Donna Kay Brock, Mt. Airy, GA; 5 grandchildren, Jesse Verwey, Crystal Ivester, Alex Verwey, Christopher Verwey, and Sean Brock; and 4 great-grandchildren, Erika Phapakdy, Nicholas Brock, Kaylee Brock, and Bailee Ivester.
