Doug Faulkner

DOUG FAULKNER, age 59, of Alto, GA, died Sunday, August 31, 2008. Mr. Faulkner was born on May 22, 1949 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late Hix and Beulah Mae Herrin Faulkner. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Jason Faulkner, and a brother, Leon Faulkner. Mr. Faulkner attended the Holly Springs Baptist Church. He was a friendly and caring person to all that knew him. Survivors include: his wife: Patti Chastain Faulkner, Alto, GA; his mother-in-law and father-in-law: L. M. and Marie Chastain, Mt. Airy, GA; his brother and sister-in-law: John Wayne and Linda Faulkner, Cornelia, GA; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Frances and Harry Caudell, Mt. Airy, GA; his niece and her husband: Robin and Allen Irvin; his nephews and their wives: Lee and Julie Caudell and Mark and Megan Caudell; his great niece and nephews: Ava Caudell, Thomas Caudell, Andrew Irvin and Austin Irvin. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia, with Rev. Jerry Buschman and Rev. Scott Strickland officiating. Interment will follow in the Mud Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 until 9 p.m. on Monday.
